Please remember that this is a walk and we want you to enjoy the magnificent scenery rather than racing to the end. Having said that please ensure you have appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather on the night. There will be a water station along the way and refreshments available when you finish the walk.


In your registration pack you will receive a Dove wing stencil and Dove Pink Star Walk Laces designed by New Zealand shoe designer Kathryn Wilson. Make sure you get into the pink spirit by decorating your Dove wings and wearing them, along with your Kathryn Wilson Pink Laces, on the night to show your support for breast cancer research. Participants are also encouraged to dress in pink with other clothing items and accessories.


Fantastic spot prizes will be awarded at the event for the best-dressed pink participants, as well as best-decorated and illuminated Dove wings worn on the night.


As all entrances into the Auckland Domain will be closed from 5pm on the evening of The Dove Pink Star Walk, there will be limited on-street parking available. Please do not park on the grass in or around the Auckland Domain.

If possible, we would encourage you to plan your arrival by public transport, otherwise to get as many friends and family to carpool together. A suitable area for disabled car parking will be available.

This 5km course will take place entirely within the beautiful Auckland Domain, under a moonlit sky.

At the Start. At the start line we will ask you help us create a symbolic start to the walk by cracking your pink glow bracelets in unison! This will create an amazing pink glow of participants trailing along the course as you continue through the Auckland Domain.

At the Finish. The Start/Finish line near the Auckland Domain's Band Rotunda will be clearly visible throughout the night. All are welcome to stay after the walk - mingle with friends and family under the moonlit pink sky and enjoy the prize presentation and entertainment.
