The Dove Pink product range is back for the fourth year with a larger range than ever before, giving you more ways to make a difference and build on the huge $207,000 raised in New Zealand by the popular range and the Dove Pink Star Walk since 2006.
With proceeds from the sales of the limited edition Dove Pink products going to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) the range this year sees Dove Daily Moisture Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner join the pink family, alongside Dove Pink Anti-Perspirant Roll-On and Aerosol Deodorant, Beauty Bar and Body Wash.
As a Pink Ribbon Gold Sponsor of the NZBCF and a leading fundraiser within the skin and hair care category, a percentage of the sale of every product will go towards raising funds for research into the prevention and the cure of breast cancer. In addition to the Dove Pink range, the annual Dove Pink Star Walk donates proceeds to the NZBCF.
Briar Taylor, Dove Pink Marketing Manager, said: "Everyone knows someone; a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, who has been affected by breast cancer, which is why Dove is proud to partner with the NZBCF once again to help raise awareness of this important cause for the fourth year in a row.
"With over $207,000 raised in New Zealand to date, Dove is encouraging women looking to purchase beauty products to think pink and add this limited edition range to their shopping list as they will be helping fight breast cancer in the process."
Every product in the range has been splashed with pink and has a soft, floral fragrance which provides a fresh and feminine scent. The skincare and deodorant range also features Dove's signature ¼ moisturising cream to take care of skin.
To do your bit to help support the battle against breast cancer, be sure to purchase products from the Dove Pink range, which is available from supermarkets and pharmacies nationwide from 10 August 2009. Dove Daily Moisture Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner will be available late September 2009.
The fourth annual Dove Pink Star Walk will be held this year on Saturday 17 October 2009 at the Auckland Domain.
