Paint the town pink with Dove!

Back for the fifth year, the annual Dove Pink Star Walk will take place on Saturday 2 October 2010 beneath a starlit Auckland sky and promises to be bigger and pinker than ever!

In aid of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF), this fun 5km charity walk is open to men, women and children of all ages and begins at 7.00pm with the Auckland Domain illuminated pink for the occasion.

Proceeds from the walk will help fund research to improve survivorship of breast cancer, whilst acknowledging the 2,600 women diagnosed and the 600 women who die of breast cancer each year in New Zealand.

Participants will once again be encouraged to get into the pink spirit by decorating and wearing their very own Dove wings - and to make it easier a pattern of the wings will be included in every event registration pack.

It promises to be a star studded night with prizes for the best pink outfits, goody bags, live entertainment and a spectacular pink fireworks display!
